Lansdowne
Lansdowne is a hill station named after the British Viceroy- Lord Lansdowne, who founded this cantonment town back in 1887. This Uttarakhand town is located close to the Kalagarh Tiger Reserve and is a popular site for mountaineering and jungle safari.Surrounded by thick oak and blue pine forests, Lansdowne has scenic beauty and good surroundings.

How To Reach

By Train: Two trains run from Delhi to Kotdwar (Mussorie Express and Garhwal Express). By Road: From Kotdwar it's about 40 km away. From Haridwar, a bus toKotdwara. This will take approximately an hour.

It is the nearest hill station from Delhi and can be reached from Delhi by either road or train.
